And maybe not the show and tell kind… but the one you find on the internet. Manotic Farm Flowers is an Ontario based flower shop specializing in (absolutely stunning) arrangements. So, once again I asked to use a photo of her bouquet as a reference which began the Renaissance \u0026amp; Friends collection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI once received a comment remarking the darkness in my work, how the colours were not bright and flashy. So I took a look around and realized… that observation was correct. And rather than facing it I ran away. I made all of my work as flashy and “happy” as possible, but the reality was, my art was not distasteful or inauthentic in the beginning, it was \u003cem\u003eunrefined\u003c\/em\u003e. I had not honed in my skill or opened up to share the heart behind the art. And now I know that all along there was beauty in SPITE OF the darkness.
