Where Do I Look?!

It all wants my attention... and I have a confession...
I don't spend nearly as much time creating as I do consuming. Instagram, novels, tutorials, testimonials, the list can go on. But what your eyes, hear, and mind absorb are bound to affect or INFECT whatever comes out.
"The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45
Where should I cast my eyes, and why does this overload zap me of all motivation?
Misdirected affection
I realized I was working for years to hide what truly needed to be communicated through my art- HOPE-
Not just joy, but a knowing of the good that will come in due time. A conveyance of a patient awaiting but gripping surrender to the God that holds your circumstances in His hands. He not only holds your life, but every single detail that shapes it.
And with a simple step in obedience, I chose to take on the collage section of the art course with scripture and song.
"I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,"
Psalm 121:1-2a
